Walk In The Rain
Walk in the Rain is an interactive street art project that brings climate research, statistics, and activist slogans into public space, creating new forms of visibility while fostering dialogue and encouraging collective responsibility in the face of the climate crisis.
Within Trenčín 2026 – European Capital of Culture, the project takes place in Trenčín as a participatory collaboration with local artists, climate activists, and researchers. Using rain-activated stencil interventions, Walk in the Rain connects climate knowledge to the everyday experience of the city, turning rainy days into moments of encounter, reflection, and public conversation.
PARTICIPANTS
Walk in the Rain unfolds through the voices and practices of climate activists, artists, and researchers, translating their contributions into visible interventions in public space.
Mapping
The Walk In The Rain project creates spaces for spontaneous encounters in the public sphere where people can learn about climate advocacy. All artifacts are placed on different streets in the city where the project takes place.
